Who here listens to game sound tracks?

I've recently been listening to a few
- Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - Jessica Curry - this is absolutely FABULOUS, albeit straying into classical music territory. She also wrote the Dear Esther, that's good, but not as good as EGttR.

- Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Michael McCann - has made me want to start the game again and finish it. He also did the Mankind Divided one as well.

As a side note, Jessica Curry is hosting a slot on ClassicFM this Saturday, will be interesting to see what that turns up.

I do like a good soundtrack and EGTTR was an impulse buy as soon as I'd started playing the game. Been meaning to listen to her radio show but always seem to forget.

Been listening to the NieR Automata soundtrack quite a bit (so I should, it cost quite a bit to import the fucker!). That game series has just got some gorgeous music and reinterprets themes from the previous game in a wonderful way. It's good that the OST has some unique mastering of the tracks that you don't quite hear in the game (due to repeating and blending between songs in game).

Very much looking forward to hearing Joe Hisaishi's work on Ni No Kuni 2, the soundtrack on the first game was as good if not better than most of his work on his various Studio Ghibli films.

There seems to be a few live concert performances these days, and I should really look into going to one of them sometime. Got my fingers crossed that the NieR Concert goes on a world tour (never gonna happen )

Recently I've been listening to FTL (probably one of the best video game soundtracks of all time), Yakuza 0 (never realised the western version had a different opening than the japanese one) and Killer Instinct reboot soundtracks.

One soundtrack I really need to get is Doom, lost count how many times I've listened to previews on itunes and amazon

Never, it wouldn't even cross my mind to buy one. Don't know why, it's just something that's never appealed to me.
