Looking to buy one of these as a gift but im struggling to find decent review sites.

Can anyone recommend a site or a particular model they have bought which turned out to be a decent buy.

Cheers.

This isn't the greatest of help, but I asked on twitter...

Someone said they loved them, I asked about reviews and he said just use google shopping.

I probably shouldn't have even bothered sharing that, sorry matey

I've seen 6/7 inch models from Kodak and Hitachi that were pretty good (though the frames in question are a few years old now).

I saw Tesco were selling some Technika 7 inch (I think) frames a few weeks ago for under a tenner (£8 I think) so I'd keep a look on the obscure shelves in their stores. No idea how good they are but at that price they must be surely worth a punt if they are still available.

I know this isn't particularly helpful re: model numbers etc but better than nothing.

I had a cheap Dixons 7" one (the ex has custody of that now too). The novelty wears off after a couple of hours. I wouldn't pay too much for one if I were you.

Got Mrs one last year, make sure you check in store how the pictures get loaded on. Muppets at John Lewis where I got mine didn't have a clue and said you just plug in with USB and load the pics on, and I ended up having to take it back once she'd opened it and we realised we needed an SD card separately.

I spent about £30, she's saved at least that over the year not having to go boots and get her pictures printed so much.
