What was it? Talk about it and maybe give it a rating if you want.

In the Cinema:
Precious (Based on the Book by Sapphire)
Very depressing. It's good, really good; just very sad. It seems to enjoy making this girls life worse and worse, and in some points it gets very uncomfortable to watch. But there's something about it that makes it watchable.
4/5

On Blu-Ray:
Inglourious Basterds
Not the first time I've seen it, but it's fantastic. Definitely one of Tarentino's best films (not a patch on Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction though). It's certainly a film that only a film maker like Tarentino could get away with: the fact that 3/4 of it is subtitled, it's marketed as a big war film but most of it is dialogue and even if they are in the title of the film the Basterds are hardly in it. But as with all of his works, it's captivating, and it has some utterly fantastic performances from The Jew Hunter, Eli Roth and Brad Pitt. And then there is the trademark over the top violence that Tarentino is famed for. 5/5

In the cinema I watched The Road.
Not much action, just about a man an his son tryin to survive some sort of world disaster in which not many survived.
People have turned to canabalism an what not. I liked it but the other 5 that were with me didn't!
I'd give it a 3/5

I watched inglorious basterds on box office but fell asleep half way through

Meserine, which is a French gangster flick with Vincent Cassel.

Its prettygood, although not as good as I was expecting. Didn't realise it had subtitles either which was a pisser to start with, but then just adds to the realism of the film.

At the Cinema
'The Book Of Eli'. Was brilliant! Highly recommend it to all.

On Blu-Ray
'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'. I love this movie. If you aint a HP fan (or even if you are in some cases), you probably won't like it. I thought it was great though, I think my favourite Harry Potter film.

Cinema : Sherlock Homles - New Years Eve

Really enjoyed this. Well shot, big effects, great acting.

Blu Ray : Star Trek - 2 days ago.

Ennjoyed this. Plot was a bit thin, the comedy was a welcomed addition. Not 100% keen on the effects (scenes on the bidge had flared lights, pulled across the screen, often putting characters into the background. think it was a throwback effect to the old stuff, but not a big enough fan to comment)

At the cinema - "Daybreakers". Vampires rule the world. Hilarity ensues. A decent B-Movie, but not imperative to see it at the flicks.

On Blu-Ray - "Gamer". My beloved Terrier could fart a better movie than this. Made by people who may have seen contemporary video games through a keyhole whilst huffing glue at the same time. Hardly worth anybody's time or attention.

I'm going to watch "Moon" tomorrow, which seems like it will be more than worth the months I've waited to see it.
