I will add Enslaved to my list, for music and writing. It hasn't been on my radar at all, so I think it will sadly get lost in the Xmas rush :) It saddens me, as they're doing what I wish all developers would do, employing someone skilled to write something decent. rather than letting their own ego'...

Alpha Protocol on the 360. Paid about £12 from Zavvi via frugal. Then a day or two later Daz posted another link that was a couple of quid cheaper. I would link it, but Handsome Daz has changed the layout and I can't find it :-( I was looking forward to this game, then it came out to a fanfare of de...

I'm actually looking forward to Halo. I only mention it as I'm not a great fan, but as it's Bungies swansong for MS I think it might be memorable. Vanquished I'm looking forward to the most. Castlevania will be the cream (touches wood*) I'm shocked nobody has mentioned Fallout: New Vegas. I'm not su...

Oh my word. Last summer I invested in a 37" HD TV, a nifty 5:1 stereo set up for gaming alone. It came near to the 2K mark. I'm a tawat for leaving things out for my bastard dogs to chew up, so dread to think how much I have had to pay in munched up controllers and headsets  I have spent...

As Tench pointed out, it's a moral maze and I don't believe there are rights and wrongs...but. The difference between say a book, or film dealing with the subject is the ability to convey some emotional depth and maybe some sort of empathy. That sort of story-telling in games is extremely rare. Then...

Liam Fox has called for the upcoming Medal of Honour game to be banned, due to the ability to play as the Taliban. >> HERE << I hate censorship on the whole, more so when politicians start to have a go as well, when they clearly have no understanding of the games industry. Whilst I would...
